Why can't i delete my account?

Iam new in this website and this website is great but once i go to delete account and click the green button it’s not responding please help!

To delete your account, please go to
Your Profile > Account > Delete Account > Click on Delete Account

Now i have a good network connection but still the green button doesn’t working
